The Outlawz Paper A La Mode Challenge

It is my week to share a project for the Outlawz challenge which is create a card inspired by a song! Many people may not have heard of the song I chose but my oldest introduced me to it and I love it!! Here's a link to the youtube video - Honeybee.

For my card I used Flowers and Curls from Lemon Shortbread.

A Girl and Her Puppy

Hello!!! I used Amy and Furbaby from Angels Hearts and Memories!!! There are lots of wonderful images you can find her store!! I based the layout on this week's Outlawz Sketch Challenge!! I am finding I enjoy using sketches to start off with!!

Coloring Practice Continue!

As some of you may know I am taking classes at My Creative Scoop from Mindy Baxter. She makes everything easy to follow.  In case you didn't know she is also creating digi stamps too!! You can find them in her Etsy store.

I am still working on skin and hair. I used Mindy's Create with Markers Mega Class. I love how she has the different skills broken into different segments. For this one, I worked with the "Grounding your Image with Sidewalk" segment.

Outlawz Challenge - Paper A La Mode

I am so excited to be part of the Outlawz challenge Paper A La Mode challenge. Every Saturday a new challenge is posted with  different techniques, layouts, etc... I lam excited to be part of the team because it helps me to try new ideas!!

This week's challenge is to use your favorite technique. I used creating a background with Distressed Zinc Oxide Ink. I am addicted to these inks and only just beginning to learn all that I can do with them.  We have 2 sponsors this week - Sasayki Glitter. I am working with an image from MMedelillustrations

As a huge X-Files fan, I was excited to work with Scully and Mulder!!!

I created the background using Distress Ink Oxide inks - Wild Violet, Broken China and Faded Jeans.
